TAMARA RATLIFF-ROBERTS, MS
Tamara recently joined the VET team as a Senior Environmental Scientist. She has spent several years auditing, inspecting, and issuing permits in a variety of industrial sectors. Her areas of focus are drinking water, wastewater, permit compliance, hazardous waste, waste and sludge disposal, chemical safety, and respiratory protection. She has spent most of her career working for regulatory agencies, such as IDEM, and providing technical assistance to utilities and businesses. She graduated with a Masters of Science in Environmental Science and a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Science from Indiana University. She holds a certificate in Occupational Health and Safety from Eastern Kentucky University. She is a certified Occupational Hygiene and Safety Technician, a licensed Asbestos Inspector, and a Certified Pretreatment Coordinator in the State of Indiana. She is 40-HAZWOPER trained and holds a CP-12 Professional Certificate for Safety and Occupational Health from the US Army. Tamara is a 2017 graduate of Leadership Bloomington Monroe County and has been a member of the Indiana Water Environment Association's Pretreatment Committee and the American Water Works Association's, Indiana Chapter, Small Systems Committee for the past several years.
