I was born and raised in Bloomington, Indiana in a family of four including a younger brother. A majority of my family resides in Indiana although we spread coast to coast with family in both California and Virginia. I attended Bloomington High School North where I spent my time primarily in music, playing in the symphonic band, jazz band, marching band, and in multiple musicals. I also was a part of the local high-school ultimate frisbee teams.
I attended Indiana University where I soon moved my academic attention to the School of Public and Environmental Affairs. I attest my appreciation for nature and the environment as something my family instilled within me through countless trips to national parks and abroad. I wanted to continue that passion for the natural environment into my professional life and pursuing a bachelor’s degree in environmental management was opportune. I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Public Affairs and a minor in information systems in December of 2013. Immediately following graduation I have enjoyed a career at Fields Environmental, Inc. from that point forward.
What I really enjoy about living in Bloomington is the proximity to family and friends, the local arts and music scene, and the ebb and flow of events stemming from Indiana University, especially the athletics programs (Go Hoosiers!!). On weekends you can find me mountain biking in Brown County, down at the climbing gym, or in my kitchen working on my latest homebrew recipe. My exuberance for outdoor activities have also led me mountain climbing 14ers, canoeing in the boundary waters, and ski trips to Colorado in the winter.
I am looking forward to working with the incredible employees at VET Environmental and the new challenges that the opportunity will bring.
