Born and raised in Bloomington, Indiana, Luke is a Hoosier through and through. He developed an appreciation for the outdoors at an early age. In the Boy Scouts of America, he spent many weekends backpacking, hiking and camping around the forests and lakes in the surrounding area, eventually attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.
Luke is a devoted husband to his wife Monica, and father of a four-year-old daughter, Maebry and a newborn son, Waylon. He enjoys spending his free time attending events with his family. They especially enjoy going to the Farmer’s Market during the summer and regional festivals in the fall. Any time spent outdoors is enjoyed, whether it’s smoking and grilling on his collection of Weber Kettles, spending time in his garden, or playing with his Australian Shepherds. The beauty of nature brings him peace. Luke is passionate about personal growth and improvement and believes that by impacting change internally, we can begin to impact change externally, on a global scale.
Luke joined the VET team in April of 2019. Prior to joining VET, he spent the previous five years in the pharmaceutical field as part of teams responsible for the installation, commissioning and qualification of state-of-the-art vial/syringe/cartridge manufacturing equipment. He enjoys the challenge and variability of working on a multitude of projects. He has also spent time working in the pest control field as well as for the Indiana Department of Natural Resources. From cleanrooms to wetlands, Luke is excited for this new chapter in his career, excited to be at VET!
