Chris was born in New Jersey but spent most of his youth in Chambersburg, PA. He has a BS degree in civil engineering from Bucknell University and an MS degree in environmental engineering from the Pennsylvania State University.  Following graduation, he began his career as geotechnical engineer with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. His first foray into the world of environmental engineering began in 1995 with his employment for seven years as an engineer for a petroleum installation and storage tank removal firm in central Pennsylvania.  For the next twelve years, Chris worked as a project engineer for a medium-sized engineering firm in central Pennsylvania.  During this stint he managed projects and designed water and wastewater treatment plants.  He also managed compliance for numerous natural gas exploration projects when the “gas boom” came to central Pennsylvania.  Upon relocation to Bloomington, IN in 2013, Chris was employed as a construction project inspector and geotechnical engineer.  He enjoyed working in the field with local contractors on several construction projects for Indiana University including SPEA, the football stadium, Assembly Hall, Luddy Hall and the new volleyball/wrestling arena.

Chris is a licensed professional engineer in the states of both Indiana and Pennsylvania.  With close to thirty years of practical civil and environmental engineering experience, he enjoys working with and interacting closely with his clients in order to bring them the highest quality results. As a recent hire to VET, he looks forward to the challenges associated with such a growing and diverse engineering firm.
