Brian joined VET in October 2018. Prior to VET, he was a student attending Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology where he received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering in May 2018. Brian was born and raised in Indiana and grew up in the Plainfield/Mooresville area. A strong passion for math and science and a desire to have a positive impact on the environment led Brian to Rose-Hulman to pursue a career in engineering. While attending Rose-Hulman Brian joined the Sigma Nu Fraternity where he was the new member educator and head of intramural sports. Brian had to opportunity to complete multiple research projects on a variety of chemical engineering equipment including, tubular flow reactors, cooling towers, heat exchanges, distillation columns, pumps, control valves, and many more. Brian’s senior design project was to design a full scale process for creating polylactic acid (PLA), a biodegradable plastic in the early stages of development. After graduating from Rose-Hulman he pursued a career opportunity in the environmental field and was granted the opportunity to join the VET team. Brian is very excited to see what the future will hold and continue to learn and develop skills in the environmental field.
When he is not at work you can find Brian watching his favorite shows/movies or any and all sports. Brian also enjoys going to the gym, hiking, boating, camping, and listening to a good podcast.
